Zenobi College Assistant

Privacy Policy

Effective October 6, 2026

Zenobi College Assistant is a private, family-operated college-planning system. This policy explains how the application accesses and uses Google user data.

Information accessed

How information is used

Google data is used only to operate the family's college-planning workflow: extracting relevant dates and facts, preserving source documents, identifying possible follow-up actions, preparing items for family review, synchronizing accepted events and tasks, and generating reminders or summaries.

Storage and processing

Project records and email attachments may be stored in private database and file storage controlled for this project. Information may be processed through owner-controlled automation and an authenticated OpenAI ChatGPT/Codex session to summarize content and propose college-planning actions. Approved reminders and summaries may be delivered to the family's private Telegram group.

Sharing

Google user data is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or shared with data brokers. It is disclosed only to the family members operating the project and to service providers necessary to run the system, such as Google, Supabase, OpenAI, and Telegram, subject to their respective terms and privacy practices.

Retention and deletion

Information is retained while it remains useful to the family's college-planning project. The account owner may request deletion by emailing [email protected]. Google access may also be revoked through the Google Account security settings.

Security

The application uses limited OAuth permissions, private storage, authenticated access, and an allowlist for accepted email senders. Access is intentionally limited to the smallest practical family and service-provider group.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the private system evolves. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
